- Information
The Astazur bridge, located on the Astazur river, is single-arched and built of large river stones. It is one of the biggest bridges in the region. The bridge was built in the style of Azerbaijani and Eastern architecture. The lower round part of the bridge is paved with sawstones in an oval-round pattern. The bridge is 6-7 meters high, 25-30 meters long, and 3.5-4 meters wide. There is an oval window on the upper right side. Astazur castle bridge gives the impression. This indicates that there is an ancient castle around. It has fulfilled the function of a bridge connecting the surrounding village and the village pastures.
The Astazur bridge, which plays the role of connecting between territories, is also important in terms of representing the historical heritage of XVII century Azerbaijan.
