- Information
As for the Atakhan fortress itself, the architectural solution of the fortress is not in any way compatible with Armenian architecture. The castle has two terraces and each terrace has a defense line. Based on the traces of water carvings on the first defense line, which consisted of large pieces of rock, it can be concluded that the first defense line was located inside the lake. The observation of a similar defense system only in the Baku fortress and Kalagiran gives reason to think that this kind of architectural solution belongs to the same nation. The internal defense line of the Atakhan tower was built by fastening the double walls with a special adhesive solution, which technology is not found in any other example of architecture from the BC period. The use of similar technology and architectural solutions only in the Ordakli Tower in the north of the Goycha basin fully supports the conclusion that all 23 tsars that existed in Goycha before our era belonged to the same culture and the same ethnos with highly developed technologies that were unparalleled for that time.
The ethnos, the ancient owner of the castle, Goycha, 3000 years ago it is a living proof of having a civilized culture. Toponyms on 3000-year-old stone inscriptions show which ethnic group is the ancestor of the modern classification.
