- Information
Although there is no accurate information about the settlement history of the Oghuz Turks in this village, based on the fact that the estimated number of hearths in the ruins exceeded 200 and the remains of the epitaphs in the cemetery belonging to the village, it is possible to speculate about the history of this village for about 10-12 centuries. In the XVIII century, there was still a settlement in a Turkish village called Gizildash, which is one of the oldest and largest settlements in Goycha, and this historical reality is confirmed in official sources. Atdash village is one of the 67 villages destroyed by Armenian-Russian military units in Goycha during the Russia-Iran and Russia-Turkey wars that took place in 1826-1829. Until the village was abolished, only Azerbaijanis lived here.
On the 12th page of the "Iravan province review book" dated 1728, the village was presented with its original name - "Gizildash village on the side of the village of Gorujuoran (Avdalaghali)".
