- Current situation
Despite the fact that the bridge in the Gafan region is an architectural example with Azerbaijani elements, Armenians present the bridge as their monument because they repaired and used it.
- Information
The bridge was built over a branch of the Ohchu River. The bridge is single-arched and constructed in the shape of an open triangle from large, hewn river stones. The bridge was built in the style of Azerbaijani and Eastern architecture. The lower round part of the bridge is made of sawn stones in an oval-circular pattern. The height of the bridge is 7–8, the length is 25–30, and the width is about 3–3.5 meters. It played a connecting role between villages. It is located in a forested area.
The bridge in the Qafan region is one of the most important material monuments located in historical lands in terms of architecture. There was a settlement on both sides of the river. The bridge played an important role in connecting the settlements on the other side of the river.
