Information

It is fortified with cyclops type double masonry walls. It covers the entire top of the mountain. The toponym is derived from the word upper meaning "small, low, not very tall" and the combination of the words “agh” and “dan” meaning "field, desert, open place". It is a complex toponym based on the relief.

The territories of Yukhari Agdan village have been the homeland of Turkic tribes since ancient times. It was built for the purpose of protection from heavy and heated wars.
