In the west of the village, the ancient burial mounds - Oghuz graves, which remained untouched until 1988, attracted attention with their amazing dimensions. The village was originally inhabited by Azerbaijanis. Armenians were resettled in the village from Turkey after 1828.The fact that the archaeological samples in the mounds are 3500 years old is a fact confirmed by archaeologists all over the world.
