Chaygovushan bridge architecture with Azerbaijani elements despite being an example, the Armenians repaired and used it they present the bridge they made as their monument.
- Information
The Chaygovushan bridge (Chay-goshan) is located on the Girants-water tributary, at the confluence of the Sameon water tributary - in the Chaygovushan section. It is in Karvansara district. The bridge is built of brown tuff stone. On the left side of the bridge - facing East, there is a broken inscription in Persian language dated 1207 according to the Hijri calendar. It is believed that the bridge was built on this date. There are traces of settlements and several graves on both banks of the river.
Chaygovushan bridge is one of the important material monuments located in historical lands from the point of view of architecture. There were settlements on both sides of the river. The bridge had an important role in connecting with the settlements on the other side of the river.
