Information:

In the middle of the village of Garabulag, there were rooms and prayer rooms of an ancient caravanserai, which was more than 300 years old. The caravanserai had a parking place for caravans, hotel-style rest rooms, a place (stable) and stables for riding and pack animals, a warehouse for storing trade goods, a shop selling various items, and a canteen. In Armenian and Russian sources, another name of the village is mentioned as Gazarabad. The name of the village is taken from the spring in the village. It is formed from the words black and bulak, meaning "poor, not suitable for drinking". It is a hydrotoponym and a complex toponym in structure.

In 1918-1920, it was destroyed, burned and looted by the Hay church and Dashnaks.
