- Information
Giz tower is located at the junction of forty springs of the Vorontsovka river, that is, the river from Chubuglu, in Jalaloghlu district. The width of the castle walls was about one meter. Large stones were used in the masonry. Its height was around 2-3 meters. Towers are generally built in high, inaccessible places from a military-strategic point of view. In these areas, higher places with more river banks and river junctions were chosen.
Turkish tribes have lived in the territory of Dagh Borchali and Jalaloghlu since ancient times.
