The Goy Muhammed Dome was destroyed by Armenians after the mass deportation of Azerbaijanis in 1987-1991.
- Information
Goy Mammad dome is located in Gursali village of Hamamli (Spitak) district. The person named Goy Mammad was buried on the bank of the Afandi valley, opposite the historical monument called "Zagha", between the highway and the railway. A dome was built over his grave. A large amount of milk and eggs were used in the construction of this domed tomb.
The Goy Mammad dome was built for the well-known tribes of the village and their representtatives and represents the material and cultural heritage of the historical lands.
