Current situation

The remains of cuneiform tombstones in the village of Daligardash survived until the mass deportation of Azerbaijanis in 1987-1991.

Information

In the village, there were also the remains of several cuneiform inscriptions belonging to the X-IX centuries BC. The remains of cuneiform inscriptions scientifically confirmed as belonging to the X-IX centuries BC are material evidences that testify to the at least 3000-year history of the settlement of Daligardash by the Oghuz Turks. In the XII century, there was a perfect order of Sufi minstrels-dervishes here, and one of the most perfect disciples of that school, Rahim from Daligarda, traveled to Anatolia, Tabriz, Ardabil, and Darban in the 15th century.

The remains of a cuneiform inscription in the village of Daligardash show that the main inhabitants of the village were Azerbaijanis.
