Information

The stone inscriptions left untouched until the deportation in 1987-1991 in the kahas on the Kotandag height near the village of Alapars, and the hearth places and household items related to them, reflecting the traces of the primitive life of the primitive people, are the history of at least 2000-2500 years of the settlement of the Oghuz Turks in this land, and "Kitabi Dada Gorgud" are material evidences that confirm that the places where the plot takes place are real geographical areas. The established residents of the village were Azerbaijanis. Armenians were moved here from Iran's Khoy, Maku, Salmas, Turkey's Van, Alashkirt provinces in 1829-30. In 1829, 83 Armenians from Iran were moved to the village. In 1831, 182 Azerbaijanis lived in the village. In the years 1840-1850, Azerbaijanis were suppressed and removed from their historical-ethnic lands, and the village became a settlement of Armenians.

The elders classified these places as blood basin, inevitable, another land. It is one of the places of residence included in "Dada Gorgud inscriptions". The geographical position of the village of Alparus gives the basis for these thoughts. So, the village is really located on the slopes of the mountains that surround the Goycha Basin.
