In 1977, it was taken to the open museum created in the yard of the church in Vardenis town under the instructtions and direct leadership of Nurijanyan, who was the secretary of Vardenis RPK at that time, and presented as an "Armenian monument".

The 1000-1500-year history of the settlement of Janahmad village by the Oghuz Turks is confirmed by the material evidence of this village itself. Thus, in the ancient cemetery, approximately 500-600 meters east of the modern geographical location of the village of Janahmad, which remained untouched until the 70s of the XX century, and in 1977, under the instructions and direct leadership of Nuriganya, who was then the first secretary of the Vardenis RPK, in the yard of the church in the Vardenis settlement. It is a fact officially confirmed by the employees of the State Committee for the Protection and Restoration of Historical Monuments of Armenia that the tombstone inscriptions taken to the created open museum belong to the 5th-6th centuries AD. 245 people lived in the village in 1873, 348 people in 1886, 442 people in 1897, 422 people in 1908, 523 people in 1914, and 475 people in 1916. In 1919, Azerbaijanis were subjected to oppression and massacres, and the survivors left the village. After the establishment of Soviet power in Armenia in 1920, some Azerbaijanis were able to return to their villages using the peace. There were 194 Azerbaijanis here in 1922, 335 in 1926, 383 in 1931, 339 in 1939, 337 in 1959, 589 in 1979, and 1,500 in 1987 has lived there. The village population was forced to leave the village at the end of November 1988. In 1930-1932, a state school was opened in the village. There were schools: Primary (I–IV) from 1930–1932 to 1955, lower secondary (VIII) from 1955 to 1970–1971, high school (X) from 1970– 1971 to 1987. Since the school did not have an administrative building, classes were held in different places of the village.
Janahmad village was established at the beginning of the XVI century (1510-1515). Gadimalians living in the village for differrent years (they came from Sulduz province of Southern Azerbaijan to Gazakh mahal, and from there to Goycha mahal). Akbar people (from Gazakh mahal), Hoval people (from Dashkasan district), Karbalai Gulus (from Gazakh mahal), Yeke Hasan people (from Gazakh mahal), Novruz people (from Gazakh mahal), Jabbar people (from Gazakh mahal), Chakmali people (from Sadanakhach or from Haji Garib village), Aghalik people (from Gazakh district), tribes of Turkic-Oghuz origin show that this is the homeland of Azerbaijan.
