- Information
The cave called Javad's zaga (Mohammed's zaga) is located in Dashkand village of Basarkechar district. Under the rocky part of the village there are 7 large and several small caves (zaga) at different distances. One of these zagas is called "Javad's zaga". The cave is very big. It can accommodate a herd of about 800 sheep. There are pavementlike places on both sides of this cave at a height of 2-6 meters. These sidewalks look like an amphitheater. These facts indicate that in the past ancient people held great celebrations and gatherings in such caves.
The heaviest weddings of the Dashkand village were held in the "Mohammedin Zaga's" in the winter season. The inside of the Zaga would be cool in summer and warm in winter.
