The mosque, which is an Islamic religious monument, is located in the ruins of Khoja Bazar in Karvansara district. The village mosque was built in the XVII century. The mosque was a place of worship for the village population. At the same time, the villagers gathered in the mosque on religious holidays and special occasions. Khoja Bazar is a large, ancient village. It is located on the eastern side of Upper Aghda, at the foot of the mountain.
The mosque, which is an example of Azerbaijani culture, proves that Azerbaijanis in the village have gone through a deep social, economic and historical development path.
