At the end of the 19th century, there was Mir Davud mausoleum, the grandson of the 8th Imam Reza, in Pirjavidan village of Zangazur. This area was famous as Pir Davidan village of Zangazur mahal. The ancient name of the area and sources indicate the historical heritage of Azerbaijan in Pir Davudan village.
