- Information
Before the years of Soviet rule, a religious school operated in the village by an akhund from South Azerbaijan, whose name has not come down to us. That school was in operation for almost twenty years, that is, from 1897-1898 to 1917. Together with the villagers, they came from many villages of the district and received perfect religious education in the school. The school had 17-18 graduations. Taghi's son Molla Maharram, Molla Bashir and Molla Balli received full religious education in that school.
The village was a Turkic-Oghuz homeland. Only Azerbaijanis lived here until the deportation of Azerbaijanis in 1987-1991. The religious school played an important role in the acquisition of religious knowledge by the Muslim population.
