- Information
For a long time in Tokhluja, the akhund founded by Glava Bayram, the son of Haji Humbat, i.e. Gara Bayram (his uncles Haji Ahmad and Haji Muhammad were wealthy and influential elders) from the Uvoy tribe, and specially invited from Tabriz for this purpose, as well as later by Mashadi Mir Ismail Agha and Molla Ahmad (grandfather of academician Huseyn Ahmadov), finally, religious schools operated by well-known ulema of the tribe of mullahs - Molla Zulfugar - Gara Molla, Molla Mustafa. Schools consisting of several classes in different areas of the settlement were built with the financial assistance of wealthy individuals. Since 1929, secular schools have also started to operate.
The presence of Albanians, Oghuz and Gipchak tribes in Tokhluja and the existence of schools teaching Islam show that Azerbaijanis have a material cultural heritage of ancient history.
