Statues of ram located in Kosanli and Paskili cemeteries

Vedibasar dist­rict, in the low­lands, in the Aghrı­dag val­ley, on the banks of the Vedi River, in the settlement of Boyuk Vedi.

On 4.04.1946, the name of the settlement was changed from Boyuk Vedi to Vedi.

Architec­ture

It was destroyed by Armenians.

Kosanli and Paskili cemeteries each had three ram statues. These statues were the size of living rams and had large horns. These statues existed during the 1948-1953 deportation. Later, the Armenians destroyed the statues to erase the traces of Azerbaijanis.

It is notable for its antiquity.
