Current situation

The ruins of the historic Talyn ca­­ravanserai, which were not protected and repaired by Ar­menians, re­main today.

Information:

The caravanserai on the road was one of the places where people from different tribes took shelter, spent the night, and rested. The caravanserai  belonging to the Azerbaijanis was a place with a large yard and a special building for the tem­porary stay of caravans and travelers, for the storage of draft animals and riding equipment. Caravanserai played an im­por­tant role in the commercial and social development of the surrounding areas.

A caravanserai belonging to Azer­baijanis, the trade route pas­sing through Ta­lyn, the cen­ter of the dist­rict, to the Black Sea and Russia via Tif­lis. The fa­mous Talyn ca­ra­­vanserai was located here.
