Information

The Tayaga Shrine is also located on the state border between the former Soviet Union and Turkey. Previously, there was no border line, but people could visit. An old friend of mine was also on the roster.  The last time the border line was drawn, the border between the two countries seemed to be very large and high. It was a pleasure to see him from such a distance. According to the old man, it was a place of pilgrimage, and it was considered a sacred place by the ancients. And even though it was a bit of a surprise to see the people there, it was a dream come true for everyone to go there. Since Tayaga was located on the caravan route from Agbaba to Cıldır and Kars, people always visited it on their way there and back.

Monuments and buildings belonging to the ancient Turkic tribesin the vicinity of Tayagaya and its surroundings reveal the identity of the ancientpopulation of this region.
