Information

Toparli pir is located on a high rocky hill outside the village. The area where the pir was, was surrounded by black, gray, yellow, carved, perforated and hennaed rafted rock stones, green grass and trees. People who want to achieve their dreams would come here. Young girls, childless brides, those waiting for military service and others would tie colorful cloths to trees and bushes with intentions. Toparli pir was popular among the people. Azerbaijani people from the surrounding villages would also come to visit the pir. The pir, where people took refuge for their hopes and dreams, represented the sacred faith of the people.

Like the centers of religious mysticism of Azerbaijan and the MuslimTurkish world, Toparli Pir is also an example of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan in historical lands.
